There's something magical about a well-crafted publication—the way words and images dance together, how a great editor can surprise you on every page, the tactile joy of holding quality paper in your hands.
After two decades of representing authors, working with publishers, and studying what makes readers fall in love with content, I kept noticing the same problem: amazing magazines weren't reaching the people who'd treasure them most. Distribution was broken. Discovery was a mess. Quality was drowning in quantity.
So I built NoodleMagazine. Not as some massive e-commerce platform, but as a curated space where every title reflects my personal standards and professional expertise. If I wouldn't subscribe to it myself, you won't find it here. That's my promise to you.
When I'm not curating magazines or working with authors, you'll find me in our Upper East Side location, probably surrounded by stacks of publications, marking up pages with notes, and getting way too excited about typography choices. This isn't just business for me—it's my genuine passion, and I'm thrilled to share it with you.
How NoodleMagazine Came to Be
The idea for NoodleMagazine hit me during one of those frustrating moments we've all had: I was trying to gift a friend a subscription to this gorgeous design magazine I'd discovered. Simple task, right? Wrong. The magazine's website was a disaster, checkout kept breaking, and customer service was... nonexistent.
As I sat there refreshing the payment page for the tenth time, I thought: "I've been in publishing for twenty years. I know these publishers. I understand readers. Why isn't there a place that actually does this well?"
That question kept nagging at me. I started making lists magazines I loved, magazines my friends loved, publications I'd discovered through my professional network that deserved wider audiences. Before I knew it, I had notebooks full of titles and a burning desire to create something better.
NoodleMagazine officially launched from my apartment in Manhattan, with about 30 carefully selected titles and zero idea whether anyone would care. Turns out? People cared a lot. Readers were hungry for exactly what I wanted to create: a curated, personal, quality-focused way to discover and purchase exceptional magazines.
Today we've grown to 100+ titles, ship to over 50 countries, and serve thousands of readers who share our belief that great magazines deserve better distribution. We're still small, still personal, and still obsessively focused on quality over quantity. That's never changing it's who we are.

Those advance copies that help me stay ahead of trends? They arrive at my door before they hit newsstands elsewhere.
But it's more than logistics. There's something about being surrounded by creative excellence that keeps your standards sharp.
